I know it may sound stupid, but I had two baby squirrels for a couple of days after they fell out of a tree and I was feeding it every two hours and I became very attached to them both. My mom wasn't too happy with the idea of me being around an animal that can have many diseases, but she put up with it for a little while. Well my dog ended up getting a hold of one of them and it ended up dieing and as for the other one my mom decided to set it outside for that fact that it can be dangerous and very hard to take care of a wild animal, especially since neither one of has the time. But before that I had called many places and none of them would take it in to take care of it. Well, I finally found someone that would take it in but I got their voice mail so that's when she put it outside. Four hours later they called me back and were going to pick him up so I went outside looking for him thinking maybe he would still be alive and the ants had gotten to him. Now I just feel awful because I became so attached to both of them and was really determined to save their lives. I now feel like there was absolutely no point in taking them in in the first place. There was no point to it at all. I should have either left them their and hoped for the best(like the mother coming back) or I should have stood up for the squirrels and decided to keep them until I got a hold of someone that could take them. Now I have awful images of these two dead squirrels in my head that I could and should have saved. I just need advice on how to cope with this.

Dog is sick, dont know what to do?

im 17, and well my dog is basically my best friend, shes only 5 and about a month ago she lost her appetite and stuff. We took her into the vet and did blood tests, and they gave us something for her liver, however that isnt the problem because she didnt get any better. since that we havent taken her back to the vet due to the fact my mom cant afford an ultra sound or x rays. my dad is rich and i asked him for a loan, and he said he didnt think it was money well spent. Ive literally tried everything, She eats ok some days, and bad others, and she is lethargic. what breaks my heart is the fact that she is so young, and could die, shes a smaller dog so she should live atleast into her teens if not alot longer. I have a Dell Dimension 4700c computer with Windows XP Home Edition (with all microsoft updates downloaded and installed), and use a Netgear WG111v3 Wireless-G USB Adapter, and it works just fine. It connects to the internet, but even though it's connected (I'm able to use Facebook on Google Chrome), the wireless connection icon on the taskbar keeps indicating that it's "Acquiring network address". And I can use the internet, but still says "Acquiring network address". At least the internet is working fine, so I know it doesn't matter. But still I wanna fix the glitch anyway. And I wanna know how. I tried to check for updates on the adapter using Device Manager, but it turns out that it's up to date. And I went on Microsoft Update, but the computer's up to date. I even tired to end the explorer.exe process and restart the explorer.exe process to see if the wireless connection icon would refresh and display the "Connected" icon instead of the "connecting" icon, but didn't help either. And doing the "repair" thing didn't work either, cuz when it got to the "Connecting to the wireless network" part, it just kept constantly saying "Renewing the IP address" for over an hour, and I opened Google Chrome to see if it's connected, and I was still able to use Facebook, but it still says "Renewing the IP address", and I clicked "Cancel", and refreshed Facebook, and the internet still works, but the "Connecting" icon is still on the taskbar. And I enabled all the services that's for internet, and I even enabled NetBIOS from the TCP/IP properties, but I didn't see "NetBIOS over TCP/IP" service showing in the Services in Administrative tools, but enabled it from the TCP/IP properties anyway, but it didn't fix the problem either. I tried all I could, and I just need help. Are you interested in pocket revolvers? They are pretty great, and range from all prices for your budget. I really like all the Smith & Wesson revolvers. If you don't like the lump of the cylinder that revolver's have or the more unlikely possibility of having to reload with a speed loader, the Walther PPK is a classic. I personally would go with at least a 9mm in CCW Semi-auto pistol and .38 special in a CCW revolver. There are many snub nose revolvers that shoot the .357 magnum which also shoot .38 specials. That's something to consider if you choose a revolver. The .380 acp is not that great, but it's certainly better than nothing. If you don't care much for looks and want reliabilty, look into the compact Glocks or Springfield-Armory XDm. Those have certainly proved to be reliable and come with a life-time warranty. Most gun manufacturer's have a conceal carry gun. Good luck.

I have a cat that is a murderous little bugger, and he always brings in birds. the bird you have sounds like its been hurt quite bad and to be fair, it will probably not make it for several reasons.. 1) cat salaiva is very poisonous to birds and send them into septic shock and kills them. 2) the bird will die from shock of the whole ordeal. 3) the injury will probably get infected. because of where it is, it will carry on opening. if you do take it to the vets, they will more than likely put it down. hope i helped.

I'm a stay at home Mom so I completely understand why. I love that she loves me and needs me but I wish she would share some of that love with others, especially her Daddy. She shows almost 100% more affection to me than she does to my husband and if she's upset or anything, she only wants me. She'll say "No" to him if he tries to pick her up or console her. It kills him, and me too. She's not overly clingy, even with me. She's actually very independent and opinionated. I know she loves her Daddy and he knows that too but I wish she would show it a little more. I've heard plenty of people say that their daughters started out this way and now they are complete Daddy's Girl but I'm just wondering when this will happen if its going to. Not only do I want him to feel her love but I need a break!! Lol! And its not like she never sees him....we eat breakfast together every morning before my husband leaves for work and he's usually home around 4pm or so, we eat dinner as a family every night and we even do tubby/bedtime all together. She shows almost 100% more affection to me than she does to my husband and if she's upset or anything, she only wants me. She'll say "No" to him if he tries to pick her up or console her. It kills him, and me too. She's not overly clingy, even with me. She's actually very independent and opinionated. red is a very hard color to get out.. so it was a good idea for you to wait a while. dying your hair brown or red has a better chance of going ginger orange. i dyed my hair blonde and i have naturally really dark hair. it was a long process but it has turned a little orangy ginger. it most likely will not turn that color for you because you already have natural light brown blonde hair. if all of the red is gone and other dyes.. it wont turn ginger. i would personally wait until every bit of red is out because where ever there is red of old dye,, the blonde will turn ginger in less than 2 months.

Why does my internet not work?

My computer that I bought almost 5 months ago has had internet ever since i bought it until randomly, it wants to not work anymore. I am running windows 7 so when I try to diagnose it, it tells me whats wrong with it. It is telling me "Can't communicate with Primary DNS Server". When I try a computer in another room, which is all hooked in the same router, the internet works fine. So I then try to use an older computer in my room. That also worked. So seeing these two work makes me believe that its that actual computer. I have tried things that I have found but they are not working. One thing that was suggested was to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). When I follow the steps, the cmd is telling me that it fails because it needs to be run by the admin. There's only one user on that computer. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Today I was attaching my DVD player to my TV. I put on the shelf above the TV. While I was attaching the wires the DVD player slipped and left a deep scratch on my TV. TCP Fin scans on my mac - help?

Is TCP/IP just a shortened version of the OSI model, or is it more complicated than that? What's the best type of phone for me?

My LG Keybo is toast, it wont even turn on. The best way for me to get a new phone is to buy a refurbished one ( i really don't mind if a phone has been used, only if it's been damaged in any sort of way ) and transfer everything over. Been to the doctors for antibiotics on infected nail.. will i die?

im paranoid. I have slammed my hand in a door last week. The nail hasnt come off yet but is on the vurge. It smells gross however i have been cleaning it with tcp and boiling water mixture. Swallon cartilage piercing?

I have 10 piercings ; Belly Button, and 9 in my ears. I have 3 earrings in my lobes (both ears) the middle of my right ear directly across from a tragus piercing (not sure what it's called) and my cartilage in both ears. I've had one cartilage piercing for just about 2 years now (left), and the other for almost a year (right) The one in my right ear still hurts, it takes a year if not more for it to heal. If your's is swollen then use the ear piercing medicine they should've given you where ever you got your's done. Mine's never been swollen, and I change mine out usually a month after i get them, so they'll match my outfits. But if it gets really swollen, but some anitbiotic gel on it, or take it out, because it's not worth the infection.

I think 1) is a trick question. It doesn't, its uses ARP to find the IP addr of the router, then the router issues the host an IP addr by DHCP.

this may be stupid but some routers have this stupid java script that checks the ip address on the event that you remove focus from the text box. Then the pop up box says invalid ip, so say if i type 192.168 and i decide to click on something else, it reads it as an error, either putting in the whole ip or removing it completely works. Also check there are no weird characters and that you have periods and not comma's and silly things like that. =)

How can I setup subdomains to point to the same ip address at different ports?

I have a linux server that is running 4 different instances of a game server. To connect to the server I have my router setup to forward 4 different ports(7707, 7709, 7711, 7713) to the correct machine. What I would like to do is somehow setup aliases to allow me to specify 'srv1.mydomain.com'(7707), 'srv2.mydomain.com'(7709), etc. to point to the correct ports. I have a godaddy domain name and account, but CNAME's don't allow for directing to different ports. I don't believe iptables will allow me to filter by domain name either, since it functions at the tcp level at it's highest. Does anyone have any idea what I could do?

What do you mean by it "isn't working". Also try going to http://www.canyouseeme.org/ and checking port 25565. It may be blocked by your ISP which is causing the problem. If it is blocked by your ISP then port forwarding will not help, you either have to change the port you're using or call your ISP and get them to open the port.

Why does my wireless internet work better at night?

My internet during the daytime is shoty at best problem opening even the simplest websites , even after checking all connection issues putting the laptop feet away from the router even using tcp/ip optimizer but when the sun goes down my connection speed JUMPS .... this problem only started recently no changes have been made to the computer and before now the internet is normally over 20Mb/s ... wired connections are at 20Mb/s all day ... and i know it is not the channel the WIFI is on .... How do I get rid of a nose peircing infection?

Because I'm odd, I pierced my own nose on saturday, I went from a stud to ring the next day. Keep cleaning it with salt and water solution, if after a week it hasn't cleared up take out the ring and put the stud back in. If it doesn't work take it out completely and let it grow over and try again. Hope it helps.
