I like this girl...but i don't like Like her?

i had this friend named amanda and she is pretty i guess, we usually hang out together with a couple of my friends. apparently she thinks i'm pretty cute, though i think i'm just...average. 3 days ago she asked me if i liked her and i said yes, then she hugged me, i asked her what this was about but she ignored my reply and said "i love you too"....oh ****, i soon realized i made a horrible mistake, i liked amanda...but as a FRIEND, how should i straighten this out to her without making her cry, god dammit idk what to do...
