If i dye my hair blonde, will it turn orange/ginger?

red is a very hard color to get out.. so it was a good idea for you to wait a while. dying your hair brown or red has a better chance of going ginger orange. i dyed my hair blonde and i have naturally really dark hair. it was a long process but it has turned a little orangy ginger. it most likely will not turn that color for you because you already have natural light brown blonde hair. if all of the red is gone and other dyes.. it wont turn ginger. i would personally wait until every bit of red is out because where ever there is red of old dye,, the blonde will turn ginger in less than 2 months.
