Is my ear lobe infected?

You're taking your earrings out too soon. You need to leave them in to heal for 6-8 weeks and doing it yourself you may have got an infection which would explain the swollen ear. My lobes got infected the 2nd time I had them re-pierced, they went swollen and hot and red and I needed antibiotics from the doctor. What are you using to clean them with?
