Casey Anthony - Amanda Knox Trials?

Like millions of people I am following both these two events. Casey sure seems guilty and will be convicted. Amanda was convicted in Italy of murder. It does seem strange that just about all the commentators agree that Casey murdered little Caylee, meanwhile the majority maintain the opinion that Amanda was railroaded by an Italian court and is innocent. Is this partly a case of xenophobia? Hatred of anything foreign.
